PAS Giannina is a Greek football club based in the town of Ioannina. They currently feature in the Super League Greece.

PAS Giannina were established in 1966 after Atromitos and Averof. They were quite successful in the 1970s and early 1980s finishing towards the top end of the Grecian top flight. Their fascinating footballing style drew comparisons with Dutch powerhouse Ajax and they came to be nicknamed the “Ajax of Epirus”.

Giannina, though, started to decline in the 1980s and 1990s and played mostly outside the Grecian top flight. However, they have to recover in the 2000s and played in Super League Greece again. They were relegated again and finally managed to gain top flight status for the 2008-2009 season.
