Rakospalotai EAC is a Hungarian football club based in the Rakospalota quarter in the north-east of Budapest. They currently feature in the Hungarian first division.

In 1912 a club named REAC were established in the Budapest neighbourhood Rakospalota but they went bustd in the 1940s. But local clubs Fosped Szallitok and Volan continued the footballing intensity in the city. But in 1991 Volan too busted and were merged with RAK and on August 8,1991 were renamed as REAC.

In 1992 REAC dropped to the NB III Matra group but in 1993 they climbed to the Eastern division of NB II but in 1994-1995 were back down in NB III. They pulled themselves together and in 1998 were back in the second division.

REAC play their home matches at the Laszlo Budai II Stadium that can accomodate 10,000 spectators. They bear the nicknamePalotaiak.

REAC played in the Hungarian top flight for the first time in their history in the 2005-2006 but didn’t have an easy ride that season They struggled again in the league in the 2006-2007 season.
