Kecskemeti TE is a Hungarian football club based in Kecskemet, Bacs-Kiskun. They currently feature in the Hungarian first division.

Kecskemeti TE were established in 1911. Initially they did not gain much success but reached the semi-finals of the Hungarian Cup in 1967. They merged with their cross-town rivals KSC in 1999.

In the first few years of this decade, the club struggled but the situation was taken under control in 2006 when Pal Rozsa and Janos Versegi became the club’s chairmen. At the end of the 2007-2008 season, KTE finally achieved promotion to the Hungarian first division for the first time in their history.
