S.V. Zulte Waregem is a Belgian football club based in Waregem,West Flanders. They currently feature in the Belgian first division.
S.V. Zulte Waregem were established in 2001 after Zultse V.V. and K.S.V. Waregem merged together.
Zultse V.V. had been formed in 1976 after Zulte Sportief (formed in 1950) and S.K. Zulte were merged together. KSV Waregem had been playing in the first division for many years.SV Zulte Waregem won the second division title in 2004-2005 and gained promotion to the First Division for the following season. In May 2006 they won the Belgian Cup and featured in the UEFA Cup in the 2006-2007 season and reached the Round of 32 in that competition.
