Huracan Buceo

Huracan Buceo is a sports club based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Popular mainly for its football team, the club has contributed heavily to the Uruguayan national team. Although the team has never won a title at the top division, they have two titles at the Segunda Division from their 1969 and 1995 campaigns. At the Tercera Division, two more titles from 1960 and 1967 adorn their trophy cabinet. In 1998, their only Copa Sudamericana campaign ended in the Second Round. The team plays at the Parque Huracan where 10,000 fans can be accommodated on matchdays.

Amongst many famous players to have gone on to bigger things, the club has a special place for the likes of Ricardo Rodriguez, Dardo Caballero, Roberto Bobadilla, Fernando Cardozo, and Faston Curbelo, amongst others.
