Jose Angel Crespo is a young Spanish footballer who currently features for the Spanish giants FC Sevilla. He is a left back who can also play as a left winger and is one of the promising youngsters in Spain.
Jose Angel Crespo graduated from the famous youth academy of Sevilla and featured for Sevilla Atletico in the Segunda Division in Spain for two seasons from 2005 to 2007. In December 2005, he was handed his first team debut for Sevilla against Getafe away from home and played for the first team on two more occasions in the 2005-2006 season.
Crespo was made part of the first team set-up on a permanent basis in the 2007-2008 season after the tragic and untimely death of Sevilla’s left back Antonio Puerta in Auguest 2007. He managed to play a handful of matches for the Andalucians but is anticipated to play more regularly in the 2008-2009 season.
Jose Angel Crespo is also a part of the Spain U-21 national side and played for them in the 2007 U-21 World Cup.
