DaMarcus Lamont Beasley is a professional football player for the United States who is currently unsigned since his club contract with the Rangers has expired. He is, however, a member of the United States national team since 2001. Born on May 24, 1982, he has experienced playing as a left-side winger of the midfield. He is also the first professional football player to have launched his own brand of jewelry.

When Beasley was still a young player, he joined the IMG Soccer Academy in Florida. However, before he moved to Florida, Beasley studied for two years at South Side High School. In 1999, he won the Silver Ball, and was the second best player behind Landon Donovan, his teammate.

By March 16, 1999, Beasley joined the MLS (Major League Soccer) and signed with the Los Angeles Galaxy. However, he was then traded to Chicago Fire, even though he was not able to play a single game with the Galaxy. While playing with the Chicago Fire, he became one of the most well-known players and was subsequently the star player of the team. However, by 2004, he was purchased by PSV Eindhoven, the Dutch team. Two years later, he was loaned to Manchester City and then to the Rangers on June 2007.

Beasley is also a member of the United States national team. During his time playing for the national team, he was able to make 93 caps and 17 goals for the team. Although Beasley was a part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup United States team, he was only able to play in the final few minutes of one game.
