Keisuke Hondaimage:Keisuke Honda soccer player|Keisuke Honda is a Japanese football player who at present is playing for Russian Premier League, CSKA Moscow and also for the Japan national football team. This attacking midfielder can also play as a left full back and a second striker. Till date, he has achieved 19 international caps and 6 international goals. His first international debut was in 2008 against Bahrain.
He played for Gamba Osaka team from 1999 to 2001 after which he joined Seiryo High School team from 2002 to 2004. His senior football career started in 2005 with the Nagoya Grampus Eight. During this time till 2008, he made 90 appearances and scored around 11 goals. From 2008 to 2010, he played for VVV-Venlo team and made 68 appearances scoring 24 goals. From 2010 onwards, he is playing for CSKA Moscow, and till date has made 12 appearances and 2 goals.
Honda is known as one of the brightest talents in Asian football and has represented Japan at the FIFA under 20 World Cup in 2005. He even represented the Men’s Olympic football tournament three years later.
