Atsuto Uchidaimage:Atsuto Uchida|Atsuto Uchida, a Japanese football player, plays for Schalke 04. This right wingback joined Kashima Antlers in 2006 debuting at the early age of 17. His first goal as a professional player came in March 21, 2006, when he scored against Ventforet Kofu.
Uchida got selected through votes to play in J. League All-Star Soccer in 2006 and by 2010; he was signed on a three year contract with FC Schalke 04, a German club. In 2008, he scored a 1-0 victory against Bahrain, and this became his first international goal, thus becoming the youngest Japanese goal scorer in FIFA World Cup at 20 years of age. The record was previously held by Hidetoshi Nakata, eleven years back.
Uchida played for Kashima Antlers team from 2006 to 2010 and made 124 appearances scoring 3 goals. From 2010 onwards, he is playing for Schalke 04 team.

Uchida has to his credit personal honor of J. League Best Eleven in 2008 and 2009 respectively. With right to team honors, he achieved J. League Division 1 in 2007, 2008 and in 2009, Emperor’s Cup in 2007 and Japanese Super Cup in 2009.
