Michael Beauchamp

Michael completed his schooling from Westfields Sports High School. Initially Michael started his career as a part-time football player, playing for the Marconi Stallions. He played only a single game for the Stallion’s. In 2001-02 season, Michael started playing regularly for the side, he played a total of 24 matches for Stallion’s in 2001-02 season. Starting 2002-03 season with Parramatta Power, Michael quit his job and started playing professional football. Michael was a permanent player for Parramatta side and played 33 matches in his first season. From the Parramatta side he shifted to other football clubs and after playing for Al-Jazira in 2009-10 season, he shifted to Melbourne Heart club for the 2010 season.
Michael started his international career by playing with Australian national under-23 team in the year 2004, he participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics with the team. His first international appearance for the National side was in the match against Papua New Guinea as a substitute player, Australia won the match 9-0 and Michael played an instrumental role in the match. Michael scored a self goal in Australia’s match against Paraguayin 2006, ending the match with a draw. In Asian Cup 2007 he scored the first goal in an important match against Thailand, Australia won the match 4-0.
