The youngest member for the Greek squad in FIFA World Cup 2010, Sotiris Ninis was born on 3rd April 1990. He is also a part of Panathinaikos club. He is Five feet eight inches tall and his playing position is Attacking midfielder.
Sotiris began his football career as a youngster in the year 2004 for the Panathinaikos Youth Squad. He was offered a five year contract with the club on 22nd December 2006 and was selected for the match played against Egaleo. At sixteen, he was the youngest player to have worn the club’s shirt. In total sixty seven appearances made for the Panathinaikos till now, Ninis has scored six goals.
Sotiris Ninis has been a part of Under-19 and Under 21 teams for Greece. He made his international debut in a match against Cyprus on 19th May 2008. He was called to the squad by Coach Otto Rehhagel. He was included in the Greek squad for the FIFA World Cop 2010. Till now he has made five appearances for the national team scoring one goal.
