Alexandros Tziolis

Alexandros Tziolisimage: Alexandros Tziolis| Alexandros Tziolis, born on 13th February 1985, is a professional football player who plays for the Greek National Football team and Siena which is a Serie A club. Other teams he has been a part of include Panionios from 2002 to 2005, Panathinaikos from 2005 to 2010 and Werder Bremen in 2009. Standing six feet 3 inches tall, Tziolis wears jersey number 22. His playing position is Defensive Midfielder.

Tziolis commenced his career with Panionios. After sixty one appearance in which he scored three goals, he moved to Panathinaikos. In total eighty two matches played for them and scored five goals. He made fifteen appearances for Werder Bremen and scored one goal. He made his debut for the current club Siena on 7th February 2010 in a match played against Sampdoria.

Tziolis made twelve appearances scoring one goal in the Under-21 team of Greece. His international debut came in a friendly played against Korea Republic on 21st January 2006. He was a part of the team in UEFA Euro 2008. However was included in one match only. He was also a part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier matches. Tziolis has made twenty one international appearances till now and is yet to score his first goal.
