Sung Ryong Jungimage:Jung Sung-Ryong|Jung Sung-Ryong, born on 4th January 1985 is a professional footballer who plays for Korea Republic National Football team. Being 6 feet and 3 inches tall and weighing 86 kilograms, he stands to be a tall and a strong goalkeeper.
Jung began his career at Pohang Steelers in 2003. He made 29 appearances with the club. He played with the club till the year 2007. He moved to the Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma club in 2008. He conceded 29 goals in 34 games during his first season. In the last season he successfully conceded 41 goals in 36 matches. He made total 67 appearances with the club.
Jung began his international career with the Korea Republic Under 20 team in 2005. He made 5 appearances for the team. In 2007, he entered Korea Republic Under 23 team. He mad3 16 appearances and 1 goal for the team. In 2007, he became a part of the Korea Republic National football team.
He was a goalkeeper for the Taeguk Warriors for the seven qualifying matches which took place for the 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa. However, he conceded only 3 goals.
