Hjalte Bo Nørregaard> was born on 8th of April in 1981 in Copenhagen in Denmark. This Danish professional football player plays as a central midfielder for the F.C. Copenhagen club in the Danish Superliga. Other than that, he is also the son of Klaus Norregaard, a former Danish football player.
Hjalte started his football career in a club named by Kjøbenhavns Boldklub or initialized as KB in 1999. During this time, he got promoted to the first team, FCK or F.C. Copenhagen. He played for this team till 2005 during which he scored his achieved his 91st minute goal against the Brondby IF at the Brondby Stadium in the final match held in 2003. Subsequently, he got awarded as a cup fighter after his team won the Danish Cup. With total of 120 matches, 3 Danish championships in 2001, 2003 and 2004 along with 17 goals, Hjalte moved to Dutch SC Heerenveen team.
It was crucial period for him as his tenure with the team was shattered. The coach of the team thought of him as a supporting striker, which he was not. So, after one year, Norregaard went back to FCK team and competed in the campaign of the UEFA Champions League in 2006-07. By 2007, in the month of January, he was called to play for the national team, playing 3 unofficial national team games in the United States, Honduras and El Salvador, with the backing of the team manager, Morten Olsen.

During the tour, he played in three games with a 3-1 loss to the US National team and 1-0 loss to El Salvador team. By 2008 September, he made it to the Danish national team after some great performances. For the second time, he played against Portugal and Hungary team, helping Denmark in the campaign qualification of FIFA World Cup in 2010. Irrespective of all his efforts, during the match against Hungary, he was not selected for substitution.
Career Highlights
Norregaard received various awards whilst in F.C. Copenhagen team. He became the Danish Superliga winner for five times in a row. This includes the matches won by the team from 2002-03, 2003-04, 2006-07, 2008-09 and 2009-10. Moreover, the team won the Danish cup twice in 2003-04 and in 2008-09. Other than that, individually, Norregaard was awarded the Danish Cup Fighter in 2004 and the FCK player of the year award in 2005 and 2009 respectively.
