Starting his professional football career with the Mexican Under-17 world champion team, Enrique Alejandro Esqueda Tirado, played his first professional match in Peru, in 2005. Alejandro was also included in the Under 20 world champion team, which was representing Mexico at the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup, but was dropped at the last minute.

Following this, Alejandro got the opportunity to play for the Under-23 team, representing Mexico in the 2007 Pan American Games, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He showcased his immense talent at the tournament, scoring four goals and bagging not just the bronze medal for his team, but also the title of one of the top scorers in the tournament.

Alejandro made his club debut in 2006, with Club America, his current club, in a match against Atlas. Having shown considerable improvement in his skill, Alejandro is now a starter for Club America, and has scored 3 goals so far, and 1 assist. The striker has been called up to join the Mexican national football team, for a match against El Salvador.
