Antonio Nocerino

Antonio Nocerino is an Italy international football player who currently features for the Italian and European giants AC Milan. He plays as a midfielder and is said to be one of the best in Italy.

Nocerino commenced his career at Italian and European powerhouse Juventus after graduating from their youth academy. He was officially a Juventus player until the end of the 2007-2008 but he spent almost all his career out on loan to smaller clubs.

He was sent on loan to Avellino, Genoa, Catanzaro, Crotone, Messina and Piacenza and featured in 32 matches in all competitions for Juventus in the 2007-2008 season. Nocerino was signed by fellow Italian Serie A Palermo in the summer of 2008.

Nocerino recovered his form at Palermo and was an important player for the Rosanero for the following three seasons, his performance from the midfield earning him praise throughout Italy. He scored six goals in 106 league appearances and joined Milan in the summer of 2011 €500,000 on a five-year contract.

Nocerino made his international debut for Italy against South Africa in a friendly international on October 17, 2007. He was part of the Azzurri squad that reached the final of Euro 2012.
