Elio Castro

Elio Castro Guadarrama is a professional football player from Mexico who plays as a defender. Castro played for Santos Laguna A, or Sanitos, before getting an opportunity to play for the top flight team. Although brought up mainly as a backup, Castro was kept available for the reserve lineup and that primarily meant that he wouldn’t get a game with the senior team unless there was an injury issue.

Castro has yet to make his debut for Santos Laguna and continues to be either on the bench or in the reserve squad.
