Didier Konan Ya is an Ivorian football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club, Hannover 96. He is a versatile footballer who can play either as an attacking midfielder, winger and striker.
Didier Konan Ya commenced his professional club football career at Olympic Sport Abobo and signed for ASEC Abidjan in 2003. He played for them until 2006, scoring 18 goals in 77 league matches.
In 2006 Konan Ya was signed by Rosenborg in 2006 and he played for them until 2009, scoring 13 goals in 50 league appearances. In 2009, Didier Konan Ya was signed by Hannover.
Didier Konan Ya made his international debut for Ivory Coast National Team in 2006. In March 2007, he was known as one of the four players to have received a late call up for the Ivorian's African Cup of Nations qualifier in Antananarivo.

Whilst with the ASEC Mimosas, Didier won the Cote d'lvoire Premier Division in 2004, 2005 and in 2006. In 2005, he won the Cote d'lvoire Cup and the Coupe Houphouet-Boigny in 2004 and in 2006. With the Rosenborg BK team, he won the Norwegian Premier League Championship in 2009.
