Sergio Pinto is a German-Portuguese football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga Hannover 96 as a midfielder. Pinto played for FC Porto team, since the age of 12, thus grooming himself at TuS Haltern.
In 1999, he made Bundesliga debut with FC Schalke 04, after playing for four years at this club as a youth, appearing twice in 1999-2000 season. He only appeared in 21 games in four years.
Pinto was then signed by Alemannia Aachen and played for them until 2007, scoring 10 goals in 87 league matches. He then joined Hannover 96 in 2007 on a three-year contract.
