Armando Leonel Olmedo Perez is a professional footballer from Mexico who plays as a defender. Olmedo is a product of the youth setup at Club America and went on to play in the first team in 2000. From 2000-02, Olmedo was a part of Club America and only made 3 appearances for a team filled with the best in the country and from abroad.
In 2003, he decided to move San Luis F.C. in search of first team action. Still unable to get into the team on a regular basis, Olmedo was loaned out to Club America first, in 2003-04, and then to Nexaca in 2007. Between his two loan spells, Olmedo played for San Luis F.C. and has made over 90 appearances for the team so far.
