Ignacio Camacho Barnola is a young Spanish footballer who currently features for the Spanish giants Malaga. He plays as a defensive midfielder and is regarded as one of the most promising players in Spain.

Camacho is a product of the highly acclaimed youth academy at Atletico Madrid. He plays in central midfield position and made his debut for the first team only on March 1, 2008 against the mighty FC Barcelona. He played for 68 minutes in that match which Atleti won 4-2.

Camacho went on to for Atletico until 2011, featuring in 30 La Liga matches during which he scored two goals. He won the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup in 2009-10 and finished runners-up in the Copa del Rey that year.
