Mario Bermejo Castanedo is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish first division club Xerez CD. He plays as a striker.
Mario Bermejo Castanedo commenced his professional club football career at Racing Santander in 1995 and went onto feature for Athletic Bilbao, Eibar, Gimnastica, Recreativo de Huelva and Albacete amongst others and landed at Almeria in 2006.
Castanedo was on the books of Almeria from 2006 to 2008, although he played for Poli Ejido for the 2007-2008. He was signed by Xerez CD in 2008.
