Jose Manuel Pinto Colorado is a Spanish football player who currently features for the Spanish and European giants Barcelona. He plays as a goalkeeper and acts as a backup to first-choice custodian Victor Valdes.
Pinto started his professional club football career at Andalucian club Real Betis and played for the B between 1994 and 1998. He made just one league appearance for the first team before joining Celta de Vigo in 2008.
Pinto made 181 appearances for Vigo until January 2008 when Barcelona came calling and landed him on loan for until the end of the 2007-2008 season at Camp Nou. Thereafter, he was signed on a permanent deal by the Blaugrana, with whom he has gone on to win La Liga four times, the Copa del Rey twice and the Champions League twice.
