Jaime Duran
A football defender, Jaime Duran Gomez started playing football early in life, and joined the youth ranks of Futbol Club Atlas. Duran began playing in the First division in 1999, when he appeared in a match against Tigres, which they eventually lost. But Duran was able to make his mark, as he soon became a regular on the first team, where he remained for 7 years.
Duran also appeared in 14 Liguilla matches with the club, but in 2006, he finally made a switch to Puebla F. C. During his tenure with the club, Duran was loaned out to Club Leon as well as to his current club, Monarcas Morelia in the following years. Duran had a good stint with Monarcas Morelia, with whom he appeared in over 20 matches.
In 2009 Duran shifted to Europe, and joined the Greek Super League, with Skoda Xanthi, but he returned briefly to Club Futbol Atlas before finally settling down with his current team, Monarcas Morelia.
Apart from the clubs, Duran has also had the opportunity to represent his country, at numerous youth level tournaments as well as the Mexican Under – 23 team.
