Miguel Gomez Torres is a Spanish footballer who currently features for the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid. He is a versatile defender who can play anywhere across the back four although he prefers to play at left-back.
Miguel Torres has been with Real Madrid ever since he was 12 and rose through the ranks at Real Madrid’s famed youth academy.
Torres made his debut for the club’s senior side when he featured in a Copa del Rey tie against Ecijia Balompie in October, 2006 and was a regular starter for Real Madrid in the left back position under then coach Fabio Capello from the start of the January onwards.
In the 2007-008 season Miguel Torres has have had to confront tough competition and is often on the bench or out of the side. His contract at Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2013. Torres is also a regular player for the Spanish U21 national side.
