Sergei Karimov is a German football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg. He plays as a left-back.
Sergei Karimov developed at the youth academy of German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg and made his first team debut on December 2007 against VfB Stuttgart in the German Bundesliga. On January 30,2008 he featured in a German Cup matches against Schalke 04 and led the Wolves in a penalty shootout comeback victory.
Karimov subsequently signed a professional contract with Wolfsburg that runs until 2010.
