Diego Orlando Benaglio is a Swiss international football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg. He plays as a goalkeeper.
Diego Orlandi Benaglio commenced his professional club football career at Swiss giants Grasshoppers in 1999 and played for them for three seasons. He won the Swiss Super League with them in 2001.
In 2002 Diego Benaglio moved to German club VfB Stuttgart but couldn't make any first team appearance for them and played only for the club's reserve side.
In 2005 Benaglio was signed by Brazilian club Nacional and in 2008 was signed by German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg.
Diego Orlando Benaglio made his international debut for Switzerland in 2006 and played for his nation at the 2006 World Cup finals and at Euro 2008.
