Daniel Baier

Born on 18 May 1984 in Cologne, West Germany, Daniel Baier is a German Football Player, playing currently for FC Augsburg as a midfielder. He is son of Jurgen Baier, a football player, who played for Darmstadt 98.

Baier commenced his senior career with the 1860 Munich team in 2003 and continued with the same till 2007 making maximum number of 107 appearances and scoring 3 goals. He then moved to VfL Wolfsburg and remained with the same for three years. He was loaned out to FC Augsburg in 2008 for a year. In 2010, he got transferred completely to FC Augsburg where he has made 44 appearances till now.

Baier has also represented the national football team of Germany in U-19, U-20 and U-21 levels.
