Christian Gentner is a young German international football player who currently features for the German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg.
Christian Gentner developed at the youth academy of German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart and made his first team debut in February 2005 against Hertha Berlin in the German Bundesliga. His first goal for Stuttgart was against NK Domzale on September 25,2005.
In the summer of 2007 Gentner was loaned to VfL Wolfsburg for until the 2009 summer. He has now been signed by the reigning German champions on a permanent contract.
