Sergio Pellissier is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Sere A club Chievo Verona. He plays as a striker and is also the captain of the club.
Sergio Pellissier commenced his professional club football career at Torino after developing at the club’s youth academy. He played for Torini between 1996 and 1998, featuring only once in the league. He played on loan at Varese for two seasons and after some impressive performances was signed by Chievo Verona in 2000.
Sergio Pellissier didn’t play a crucial role in Chievo’s promotion-winning season in 2000-2001 as he played on loan but since have since played for the Verona club, both in the Italian Serie A and for one season in the Serie B. Pellissier has mustered over 230 league matches in both division for Chievo. Pellissier played a crucial role in Chievo’s survival in the top flight in the 2008-2009 season and was one of the best players in the Serie A that season.
