Helder Silva Santos is a professional football player from Brazil and is known as a wonderful left back who loves to run up the touchline in support of the attack. Helder's playing career began at Londrina Esporte Clube where he was a part of the youth team setup. Gremio decided to bring him into their own youth development program and in 2007 Helder was donning different colours.
Once in the youth squad, Helder made rapid progress and within a year, was playing in the senior team. His debut came in May 2008 in a game against Sao Paolo. Although Helder has mainly been used as a substitute, he has seen the starting lineup as well in his 22 odd appearances.
