Jose Carlos Garcia Leal is a Brazilian footballer, who began playing professional football in 2000, with his current club Goias EC. Popularly known as ‘Ze’, Garcia was drafted from the youth division of the same club, and spent only two seasons with them. During his first stint with the club, Garcia scored 5 goals in over 45 appearances.
In 2003, Garcia moved to Sao Caetano for one season, and then moved to Corinthians in 2004. During his one season with Corinthians, Garcia scored 2 goals in the 15 appearances he made with the first team. In 2005, Garcia moved to Cerezo Osaka, where he remained till 2007, during which time he scored 16 goals in over 80 appearances.
Garcia returned to Brazil in 2008, and joined Botafogo, but after one season he returned to his current club, Goias EC. Some of Garcia’s top honors include the Goias State league title win, three times, the Brazilian League 2nd division title in 1999 and the Brazilian Center-West Cup win three times.
