A football striker, Paulo Sergio Luiz de Souza began playing professional football in 2007 with his current club, Club de Regatas do Flamengo. He was a part of the youth division of the same club since 2006. Sergio made his debut for the club in May, 2007, against Palmeiras in the Campeonato Brasileiro. He has been a part of the winning team of the Taca Guanabara and Rio de Janeiro State League title wins in 2007 and 2008.
