Gabriel Mercado

Gabriel Mercado is a professional footballer from Argentina who plays as a central defender. Mercado is a product of the youth team at Racing Club and in 2006 came through the ranks to join the first team squad. He was a regular almost from the word go and was also picked for the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in 2007, a tournament that Argentina won.

He appeared for his club team over 50 times in his three years there till date.
