Fernando Martín Forestieri is a teenage Italian football player who is on the books of the Italian Serie A club Genoa. He plays as a second striker and has loaned out to the Italian Serie B club Vicenza.
Fernando Forestieri was born in Rosario, Argentina to Italian parents. He developed first at the academy of Newell's Old Boys and then Boca Juniors and then joined Genoa in January 2006 on a five-year contract. In November 2006 he made his official debut for Genoa against Empoli in the Coppa Italia.
Forestieri played for Italian club Siena for the 2007-2008 season on loan and was loaned to Vicenza in January 2009 for the rest of the 2008-2009 season.
