Andrea Ranocchia is a young Italian football player who is on the books of the Italian Serie A club Inter Milan. He plays as a centre-back and is said to be one of the better young players in Europe.
Ranocchia commenced his professional club football career at Arezzo in 2006 and played for them for two seasons, scoring one goal in 56 league matches. He was signed by Genoa in 2008 and was loaned out to Bari for the 2008-2009 season and then again in 2009-10.
Ranocchia was signed by Inter in 2011 but after initially failing to impressing at San Siro, he has now established himself as one of the first-team regulars.

Ranocchia made his international debut for Italy on November 17, 2010 in a friendly international against Romania and was part of the Azzurri team that reached the final of Euro 2012.
