A football defender from Honduras, Leonardo Morales began his professional football career in 1997, with Real Espana. Remaining with the club till 1999, Morales moved to Club Deportivo y Social Vida in 2000 and played two seasons with the club.

In 2002, Morales shifted to Club Deportivo Marathon and once again played two seasons with the club before returning to Vida. In 2006, Morales moved to his current club, Hispano FC, which is in the Liga Nacional de Honduras. Morales has also had the opportunity to play for his country with the Honduras national football team in the 2000-01 season.
