An Argentine footballer, Leonardo Biagini began playing professional football in 1993, with Newell's Old Boys, a top division club in the Argentine football league. Showing signs of obvious talent, Biagini remained with the club till 1995, the year he went on to win the World Youth Club, with the Argentine Under-20 team, held in Qatar.

The win earned him his stint with Atletico Madrid, where once again Biagini excelled, helping the team win the league cup as well as the Copa del Rey for the 1994-95 season. In 1997, Biagini was sold to Merida UD, but remained with the club for only one season, after which he moved to RCD Mallorca. Continuing his winning momentum, Biagini went on to win the Supercopa de Espana with the team, in 1998.

In 2002, Biagini enjoyed a short stint with Portsmouth F.C., an English club but soon returned to RC Mallorca, and marked the return with the Copa del Rey win. The next season witnessed Biagini moving to Ravo Vallecano, with whom he made 28 league appearances, scoring 6 goals in total. But once again, Biagini made a shift after one season, this time to Sporting de Gijon, where he remained for two seasons, making 48 league appearances and scoring 13 goals.

In 2006, Biagini moved to Albacete Balompie, remaining again for one season, before moving to his present club, Arsenal De Sarandi, a top division club in the Argentine football league. So far he has made 13 league appearances, scoring three goals with the team.

Some other national and international events that Biagini has added to his winning list include, La Liga in the 1995-96 season with Atletico Madrid, with whom he also won the Copa del Rey in 1996, the Supercopa de Espana with RCD Mallorca, with whom he once again won the Copa del Rey in 2003 and finally the Copa Sudamericana with Arsenal de Sarandi in 2007.
