Alessandro Agostini is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Cagliari. He plays as a defender.
Alessandro Agostini developed at the youth academy of Italian club Fiorentina and made his first team debut for them in 1996. In his first spell he played for two seasons for the Florence based club but could not make any first team appearance for them.
In 1998 Agostini was loaned out to Pistoiese and after two seasons there played on loan at Ternana. He was recalled to Fiorentina for the 2002-2002 season and then moved to Siena.
Alessandro Agostini subsequently featured for Empoli and Cagliari on loan and was signed by Cagliari on a permanent deal in 2004.
