Daniele Dessena is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Sampdoria. He plays as a midfielder.
Daniele Dessena developed at the youth academy of Italian club Parma and made his first team debut for them in 2004. He played for Parma with some prominence for four seasons, scoring five goals in 81 league matches.
Daniele Dessena exhibited a marvelous array of skills for Parma in these four seasons and was signed by Sampdoria in the summer of 2008 for 4 million euros after Parma got relegated to the Italian Serie B at the end of the 2007-2008 season.
