Hugo Campagnaro

Hugo Armando Campagnaro is an Argentina international football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Napoli. He plays as a defender and is rated as one of the most reliable centre-backs in Italy.

Campagnaro commenced his professional club football career at Argentine club Club Deportivo Moron in 1998 and played for them until 2002 in the second and third division.

He scored 6 goals in 103 league matches and was signed by Italian club Piacenza in 2002. He went onto play for them for five seasons, scoring 10 goals in 122 league matches.

In 2007 Hugo Campagnaro was signed by Sampdoria and after two years he moved to Napoli, making a total of 38 appearances for the Genoa club.

At Napoli, Campagnaro has established himself as one of the most important players and won the Coppa Italia with the Naples outfit in 2011-12.

Campagnaro made his international debut for Argentina in 2012 and has played seven matches for his nation so far.
