Stefano Lucchini is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Sampdoria. He plays as a defender.
Stefano Lucchini commenced his professional club football career at Cremonese in 1998 and played for them for two seasons, scoring one goal in 34 league matches. He was then signed by Ternana and played for them for two seasons, scoring two goals in 43 league matches.
Stefano Lucchini was then signed by Empoli in 2002 and played for them for five seasons, scoring twice in 126 league matches. He made his Italian Serie A debut against Lazio on November 3,2002 and went onto establish himself as one of the key members of the Empoli team.
Stefano Lucchini was signed by Sampdoria in 2007 and he has since been a regular member of the Italian club.
