Simone Padoin is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Juventus. He is a versatile football player who can play either as a left-sided midfielder or as a defender.
Padoin commenced his professional club football club career at Italian side Vicenza in 2003 and played for them until 2007, scoring 3 goals in 126 league matches.
In 2007 Padoin was signed by Atalanta and became a regular first team player for the Italian side. He earned a reputation of being a hard-working and consistent player, scoring 17 goals in 151 league appearances.
In January 2012 Padoin was signed by Juventus from Atalanta and he helped them win Serie A in 2011-12.
