Christian Terlizzi

Christian Terlizzi is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Catania. He plays as a defender.

Christian Terlizzi developed at the youth academy of Italian club Lodigiani and made his first team debut for the club in 1996. Initially he spent his time in the lower divisions and even at amateur level.

In 2003 he signed for Palermo, then in the Italian Serie B. Palermo got promoted and Terlizzi made his Italian Serie A debut at the age of the 25.

In 2006 he was signed by Sampdoria Sampdoria in a co-ownership bid, along with Pietro Accardi and Massimo Bonnani, as part of the deal of Aimo Diana and Marco Pisano.

In July 2007 Terlizzi was transferred to Catalan and has been a major player for them since.

Christian Terlizzi made his international debut for Italy on August 16,2006 against Crotia in an international friendly.
