Gionatha Spinesi is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Catania. He plays as a striker.
Gionatha Spinesi commenced his professional club football career at Italian side Pisa in 1995 and in the November of that year moved to Inter Milan. He was however not able to make any first team appearance and was sold to Castel di Sangro in January 1997. In June 1997 he was signed by AS Bari and made his Italian Serie A debut for them.
Gionatha Spinesi played for six seasons for Bari and in February 2004 was released by the club for free after he and the club's board fought over contract renewal.
Spinesi featured for the newly Italian Serie A club Arezzo during the 2004-2005 season and moved to Catania in 2005.
In the 2006-07 season Spinesi kept his excellent top flight record up by notching 17 goals and ensuring Catania remained in Serie A.
During the 2007-08 season Spinesi couldn't score too many goals, but was still an influential part of the first team
