Javier Garrido Behobide is a young Spanish football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Manchester City. He plays as a left back.
Javier Garrido was born in the Basque country of Spain and started his playing career at Real Sociedad. He progressed through the club’s youth academy and made his senior debut in 2004. He played for three seasons for La Real and scored 1 goal in 86 La Liga appearances.
In the summer of 2007 Manchester City signed Javier Garrido for 2.2 million euros and he made his debut against West Ham United. He was more or less a regular at Man City in the 2007-2008 Premiership season.
