Javier Pastore is a young Argentine football player who currently features for French giants Paris Saint-Germain. He plays as a playmaker and is rated as one of the best in his position in Europe.
Javier Pastore developed at the youth academy of Argentine side Talleres de Cordoba and made his debut for the first team in 2002 for the club in the Argentine second division. In 2008 he was loaned to Argentine Primera division club Huracan whom he helped to second place in the Clausura 2009 tournament.
In the summer of 2009 Javier Pastore was signed by Italian Serie A club Palermo on a five-year contract. He was an instant success in the Italian first division and earned heaps of praise for his vision and creativity.

After two successful seasons with Palermo, Pastore joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2011, with Palermo receiving €39.8 million as transfer fee. He is a first-team regular for the Parisian outfit.
Pastore made his international debut for Argentina against Canada in a friendly international against Canada on May 25, 2010 and was part of the team for the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
