Shaun Richard Maloney is Malaysian-born Socttish inetrnational football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Aston Villa. He is a versatile footballer who can play as a striker, an attacking midfielder and is renowned for his set-piece skills and long shots.
Shaun Maloney started his professional club career at Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic in 2001. He scored 26 goals in 106 Scottish Premier League appearances during his time at Celtic Park and was one of the best players for Celtic. With Celtic he won all the major Scottish titles and was awarded with the Scottish Player of the Year Award in 2006.
Premiership side Aston Villa signed Maloney in January 2007 for 1 million pounds.
