Born in 1976 in Florencio Varela, Christian Diaz is an Argentine football player. He currently plays for Arsenal de Sarandi, which plays in the top most league of the Argentine football league. Starting out with Independiente, Diaz began playing professionally in 1995. The same year Diaz was chosen as a part of the Argentine Under-20 team, and represented them in the FIFA World Youth Championship. The team went on to win the title, with the final against Brazil.
Following this, Diaz shifted to Italy, where he joined Udinese Calcio, though only briefly. Diaz soon shifted clubs quite frequently moving through five Spanish clubs, which were Levante UD, UD Almeria, RCD Mallorca, Ciudad de Murcia and Albacete Balompie, from 2001 till 2005. In 2005 Diaz finally returned to Argentina, where first he played with Olimpo de Bahia Blanca and Huracan, after which in 2007 he joined Arsenal.
