A football defender from Uruguay, Pablo Martin Lima began his professional football career in 2001, with Danubio F.C., with whom he remained till 2007. He won three league championships with the club, which included the 2004 Primera division title, the 2006 Apertura tournament and the 2007 Clausura tournament.

After over 190 appearances and 14 goals to his credit, Lima moved to Velez Sarsfield, where he has made over 30 appearances so far.
